Movement Mondays

A Live Music Slow Flow Yoga Series
Movement Mondays is a gentle, intentional slow-flow yoga series rooted in deep listening, devotion to presence, and embodied curiosity. Drawing from a yogic background that honors breath, subtle energy, and the wisdom of the nervous system, this practice invites you to move with sound rather than alongside it.

Each First Monday of the month, the space is set as a living musical stage — welcoming rotating local musicians to play live as we flow. The asana unfolds slowly and intuitively, allowing rhythm to guide breath, melody to shape sensation, and movement to become an act of listening. Each gathering is unique, shaped by the musicians present, the collective energy, and the moment itself.

This is not a performance — it is a shared devotional practice. A space to support local artists, cultivate a grounded and curious yoga community, and explore movement and sound as pathways to connection.

🌿 About the Practice
This is a slow, accessible flow emphasizing mindful transitions, breath awareness, and somatic presence. Postures are offered with spacious pacing, allowing room for exploration rather than achievement. The practice supports nervous system regulation, creativity, and embodied listening.
All levels are welcome. Rest, modifications, and self-honoring choices are always encouraged.

🎶 About the Facilitators & Musicians

Yoga Facilitation — Bridgette
Movement Mondays is guided by Bridgette, a yoga facilitator and sound practitioner devoted to embodied awareness, breath, and subtle energy work. Her teaching is grounded, intuitive, and invitational — weaving yogic philosophy, somatic curiosity, and devotional presence into each class. Bridgette creates spaces where movement becomes meditation and sound becomes a guide, inviting practitioners to slow down and listen inward.

Live Music — Rotating Local Artists
Each month features rotating local musicians who co-create the experience in real time, responding organically to the energy of the room and the unfolding movement.
