Spring Equinox Cacao Ceremony • Ostara on the Wheel

Join Missy and Bridgette for an evening of ceremonial cacao, sound, and ritual, held in the fertile days following the Spring Equinox and aligned with Ostara, a sacred turning point on the Wheel of the Year honored in many Celtic and earth-based traditions.

Ostara marks the moment when light and dark stand in balance, and the earth begins to warm again. Traditionally associated with the goddess Eostre/Ostara—a deity of spring, dawn, and renewal—this season celebrates fertility, sweetness returning to the land, and the first visible signs of growth. Seeds swell beneath the soil, sap begins to rise, and life quietly gathers momentum.

This ceremony invites you into that same gentle quickening—the feeling of something within you softening, stirring, and preparing to grow. Through a heart-centered cacao ceremony, we will work with warmth, sweetness, and earth energy to plant intentional “heart seeds”—intentions rooted not in force, but in nourishment, patience, and care.

Cacao, warm and grounding, opens the heart while keeping us deeply connected to the body and the land. Its rich, earthy sweetness mirrors the season itself—like sunlight on skin, like soil warming underfoot. Supported by ritual, reflection, and immersive sound, we create space to listen for what wants to be tended, watered, and lovingly brought to life in the weeks ahead.

This is a moment to slow just enough to feel what is sprouting—then to trust the natural intelligence of growth. A ceremonial pause where intention meets embodiment, and where the seeds you plant are infused with warmth, presence, and possibility.
